Used for elevators, main door, amenities, and sometimes the garage doors, fob keys are assigned to each condo owner and tenant, and it increases the security to ensure only the rightful individuals can have access to the units. Using RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) it attaches a serial number linked with the tenants’ profile in the condo management’s system to ensure that serial code is authorized for access into the building. Any other codes not under their system would deem as unauthorized and not able to “tap in” for proper access.
